Prices, probability, and liquidity
How to read Polynion prices without treating them as promises.
Prices, probability, and liquidity
Polynion prices are shown like probability-style signals. Internally, prices use basis points: 10,000 means 100%.
Reading YES and NO
YES and NO prices usually move as opposite sides of the same market. If YES becomes more expensive, NO usually becomes cheaper.
A higher YES price means the market currently values YES more highly. It does not prove YES will happen.
Why prices move
- Buying YES pushes the YES price up.
- Buying NO pushes the YES price down.
- Selling YES pushes the YES price down.
- Selling NO pushes the YES price up.
What virtual liquidity does
Virtual liquidity smooths price movement. It helps the market quote trades without waiting for a matching user order.
Large trades can still move price more than small trades. Always review the quote before confirming.
